President Declares Dec. 29, 2020 as the 850th anniversary of the St. Thomas Becket

MEETING – OCTOBER 10, 2020, at 3:00 PM

Worthy Master Leonard O. Pierce, Prior Robert J. Reeves, Sr., and Marshal D. Owen West, of Dr. George M. Patrick Chapel No. 4, Commemorative Order of St. Thomas of Acon greets you.

Having matriculated through the recent and in some cases ongoing tropical storms, hurricanes, pandemics and other annoyances, we find ourselves planning, with the worthy assistance and guidance of our Texas Provincial leadership, holding our second stated meeting of the year on Saturday, October 10, 2020, 3:00 p.m. at our home, Ivanhoe Commandery Asylum at Brazos Union Masonic Lodge Hall, 107-A S. Main St, Bryan, TX 77803.

On the agenda are elections. 

The Worthy Master and his officers looks forward to seeing everyone in Bryan at 3:00 p.m. for the October 10 meeting. 

Everyone come and have a good time, as the State re-opens for Masonic activities and meetings.

August 22, 2020 Annual Meeting – CANCELLED

WATCH FOR AN ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING A VIRTUAL MEETING OF THE CHAPEL VIA ZOOM IN THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO.

The Provincial Grand Preceptor of Texas (effectively the “grand master” of Acon in Texas) has cancelled this meeting because we are still under COVID-19 restrictions, and the Grand Master of Masons in Texas is not permitting degree work to resume for Freemasons in Texas, thus no meeting may lawfully be held.

A virtual meeting, via Zoom, will be set up on the near future in which all members of the chapel may participate for the purposes of dealing with the installation of officers, and other business as may be determined by the official summons to be forthcoming.
